Default Finally as I want it - what do you think?

Hi all,

I thought its about time I said hello and displayed a few pictures of my MY98 reddish blue. After a few cosmetic mods, i've now got it to a stage that I like. Current spec is:

MY98 UK Turbo

Performance parts
  • Dawes device boost control and FCD peaking at 17psi (still want an AVR-R)
  • Ported and wrapped headers
  • Full decat with Ninja backbox
  • STI Intercooler
  • Homebrew waterspray
  • Airbox freeflow filter
  • Airbox cool air feed
  • Last rollered @ 265bbhp + 250lbft
Cosmetics
  • STI 5 rear spoiler
  • Colour coded sills
  • Carbon bonnet scoop (bigger than stock but not STI8) now painted blue.
  • Blended front splitter into existing bumper
  • 17" OZ super leggas
  • Snake eye rear lights (still not sure about those )
  • Morrettes
Other bits
  • Oil pressure, oil temp, boost gauges mounted in normal spot!
  • AFR meter mounted on a-piller.
  • STI strut brace
  • 4 pot calipers with groved discs
  • Tow bar (unfortunately, but its a neccessary evil to tow my trials bike!)
  • And not forgetting a prodrive gear ****! (at least an extra 10bhp!)

Cheers guy'n'gals,

Wayne.

Cheers guys for the good reception. I have to agree with the rear lights, I've always had reservations about them. Yep, also fancied some clear front indictators.....mmmmm.

Anyone want to swap my rears for a set of STI rears?

nice one. Personally i'd go for smoked indicators and dark wheels - black or gunmetal.

JC, unfortunately I can't really say. It was fitted when I bought the car, so I haven't driven it with the stock intercooler.

TBH I don't think the orange indicators and repeaters take anything away from the car - I'd probably leave them.

They might look slightly more out of place if you fitted STi rears but only slightly.
