Default Few pics of my 205

As the old girl is back form Germany for a couple of months I thought I would grab a few pics before it goes off for a rebuild.

The missing front wheel arch was a british biker at the ring..... He came off alot worse than me. It was his fault but I didnt have the heart to charge him for my piece of trim.

Im all heart me

I know what the pug GTi's are like I had a 106 GTi a few years ago, even though it was not the quickest car in the world, there are a lot of fun, had a straight mile drag with a 205 gti 1.9 and my 106 gti was only half a car length in front, but for a car that old, it got my respect.

Now ive gave your 205 a thumbs up , Stop with the WRX bashing threads.

I had a 205(90) 1.4 Xs in white with Gti trim. 1360cc with twin choke carb. It was as quick and somtimes quicker than the 1.6. Great little car and parts were dirt cheep as most scrappys were full of them as they got older.
Top motor. Nice in black aswell Gutmanpug.

Just the way nature intended, a good old 8 valver......

How quick is it? Quick enough to get me round the ring in 8 mins 52 secs. Considering Clarkson managed 9.59 in the jag and Sabine 9.15 not too shabby for 130 BHP me thinks

Oh and for the person who made the C172 comment its a good job you cant get a close up on the plate because it came from my old car

JCscooby ,......... its green

Leave it outside for weeks on end and it starts at the first turn of the key, more than could be said for a lot of those blue cars with ironing boards on the back

hhmmmmmmmmm.......starting my old 205 was a nightmare. Also had a mate who went through three of the little buggers and same thing, they all were bad starters. 8 months with the scoob (my97) and it hasnt failed to start once. I will however credit the 205 with the fact it made 164,000mls on the clock when i sold it.
p.s I thought u owned a car with an ironing board on the back?

[QUOTE=Hol]You have wonky foglights
QUOTE]

A slight altercation with a bank on the way home from kicking Scoobs ***** at Bedford last Feb.

Sits back and waits for the wet twisties comments, oh but of course Bedford was wet too and them ironing board clad cars kept dissapearing off into the fields now didnt they

My advice Hol would be dont buy a 205 for the ring. Not that they aren't brilliant little cars and more than capable BUT its Germany your car will be doing its work in........So buy a golf / E30 BMW, every garage has spares and knows how to fix them quickly.

Yes but the tables would turn given a run out on the track, the 205 has far superior handling over the clio. Which is a little embarassing when u take into account 15 years difference in technology. The 205 still rules the roost in hot hatch handling.

Quick Reply: Few pics of my 205
