Default Saying "Hi!" from across the Atlantic!

Whats up UK subaru owners? Name's Arnold. From Canada. Yah i know, i know, you guys own us...

I stumbled onto this site am overwhelmed by all the WRX's here... Awesome.

What car do i own? A piece of crap compared to your powerhouses.

1998 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS (The OTHER Impreza that came in 2 door).

I bought her back in September. Plan on giving her the WRX STi Type R version 5 exterior/interior/suspension makeover, then an 04/05/06 motor/transmission/driveline swap eventually - along with the same shade of blue as found on a WRX STi Type R version 5.

There is a shop here near my city that is renowned for the engine/driveline/transmission/suspension AND interior (they are so good, they can swap an 04 STi guage cluster and complete dashboard into a 98/99/00/01 Impreza). But there are a couple of other parts that I'm looking for that i hope being connected to you guys overseas can help me obtain - like for instance the 22B bumper with turn signals, STi stickers, fog covers, lightweight reinforment bar, etc..

You can't get a 22B bumper, its for the widebody... you can get the STi sport bumper, for the narrow body classic. They can be had on the North American Continent. I myself can find them in the US without an issue, the price however, is a minor issue.

And I swear, if you're going to change the colour of that car, I will beat you. Only 500 of that color came into the US/Canada in 1998. They are what one would call, a unicorn.

You can buy replica 22B bumpers to fit all classic Imprezas, not sure on the availability of them over there though! What would also look nice on yours mate is a version 6 front bumper with P1 splitter

Just out of interest how come the US cars have those orange bits on the sidelights?

Replicas over here are obsolete. The STi sport bumper, which is the same as a 22B replica is $1100 US for one to get here.

The US cars have the orange bits because of Department of Transportation regulations... all cars are suppose to have orange reflectors on the front. Its obsurd I think.
