Saxo VTR lowered 30mm on 16" alloys with Pirelli P zero rubber. The bonnet can be either for or against but the two tone worked fine. dual exhaust with Viper induction kit. The ICe was Fusion front and rear with a apline sub with 1200watts. The head was a alpine and it had 2 x 9" on a stealth shelf powered by a pheonix gold amp split over 4. The alpine head powered the two rear passenger speakers all the rest kicked on 175watts. The rear and tail windows were tinted to limo black.

Whilst I can appreciate the amount of work that's gone into the bonnet, I think (IMHO) it ruins quite a tidy looking car.

It's the old chestnut like frog eye head lamps. Matter of choice, they would not have been my first choice, it was my son. He was looking for a car out of the norm with all them modded saxo local in our area.

Myself I thimk simple is more effective and can support you in your opinion. But as I am over 40 my sons youth won the day.

That bonnet would give plenty of extra traction should one decide to run over the car

Nice mod for getting onto the roof to polish it: A ladder on the bonnet why don,t BMW look into this for their next X5.

The things they think of to make our lifes easier ahhh when will it stop.

Next will be angel eyes on Fords to make the consumer think they are getting a BMW for much less!

If it weren't for the bonnet I would like it. I used to be into modifying cars and put several together before getting the Impreza. The boonet is just way to over the top. Sure your son is enjoying all the attention having a bonnet like that, but he probably hasn't worked out why most people are really looking at it yet.

I don't generally like mod's that arn't functional or there for a performance advantage - and that bonnet has got to mess up the drag co-efficient of the car.

With a different bonnet on it, perhaps just with custom slat style venting I think it would look sorted. I'd also remove the weighty ICE, strip the interior out and fit a couple of bucket seats if that were my car - but then that really is personal preference!

What, like those filters and de-cats that can get you 100 or so bhp increase?

Your not winding me up about what I said re that 306 are you?

On *some* normally aspirated cars you can get worthwhile bhp increases at the top end from exhaust and filter mods.

This may be Scoobynet, but this is the 'other marques' section. Last time I checked you didn't have to have a Scooby to post on this forum.

A little OTT with the responses and it does prove how narrow minded some people can be.

some hardcore responses on here imo the car does not look too bad,but whoever put that bonnet on needs 3000v electrodes attached to their bollocks whilst being beaten around the face with a wet haddock
