Default hayward/scott jap style exhaust

Pic request really!!

As above really, was looking for one on the car.

Newage if possible but not a problem.

im undecided as to whether to go for the vortex with centre pipe, as i want to keep the 2 front cats or whether to go for the hayward n scott version.

Any pics or opinions appreciated.

I've got the Jap style on my 2005 WRX - http://www.st3ph3n.com/images/car/newbits/

Picture 3 and 4 there really show it off.

I've just got the backbox changed on mine, no centre, up or down pipe mods as yet. It sounds absolutely fantastic. It was bigger and louder than I had originally intended to get, but I've been smiling since I got it in june. Even just the backbox makes a tiny bit of difference. It feels like it pulls harder earlier. Like the turbo is spooling up just that wee bit lower down the revs.

Default exhaust

ref: your scooby exhaust, depending on what year your vehicle is zero sports manufacture a full system, that adds about 25-30 bhp. take a look

Made of high efficient catalyst metal a highly effective system with an exhaust flow almost equivalent to a straight pipe. At idle the catalyst exhaust temperature is 200-250 degrees; at this point Super Metal achieves a significant 70% purification increase. At full boost and exhaust temperature of 800 degrees, super metal furthermore achieves a 90% purification increase. Utilising an original elliptical outlet exhaust flow & accelerator response is further increased.

price = £464.74

This model is developed to enhance engine characteristics, maintain design & anti-corrosion. The model utilises high quality SUS304 metal, producing an all stainless premium model. Main pipe 70mm tail end 101.6mm. System features advanced internal dual propeller to increase velocity of exhaust gases, prevent losing lower power range & helps spread gases in the muffler to produce comfortable attracting note.

price = 423.78

I do like the nur spec but IMo i feel most of the money is spent on that name on the side. From what ive seen the H&S kit is just as good quality at a much more reasonable price.

cheers peeps for the pics,

Oh yes im loving that car. Its not as brutally fast as the cossie but as a performance car its on a different planet.

You cant compare the 2 tbh,

theres 10 years between them and thats a few lightyears in the technology stakes lol

Default Not a Newage but hey!

In my opinion, its all down to personal choice but the quality of the H&S stuff is excellent and Id quite happilly buy H&S stuff if I had to do it again

Without wishing to hijack this thread - how did you colour your wheels (assuming they were originally gold)

got them sprayed by the local wheel place, left them in and at a cost of £72 (iirc)a wheel they strip them and spray them, got them done wet antracite definately worth it. Kerbed one last year and took it back and they fixed it and painted it again for the same price i even mangaged to pick up another wheel and got it done as well, so i have a spare sitting in the garage
