Hi,

I have just taken delivery of my new STI seats on Friday, but I am complete unsure about them !!

I thought I was getting the usual blue and black seats but when I opened up the boxes up I have been sent all black ones !!!
At first I was fumming and was going to ring the bloke and give him sh*t, but have been told they will look cool in a silver car !!

They have grown on me now and think they will be something different to normal STI seats, what you reckon ???

they look really cool, and if your going for an understated look there great, as they dont look ott. But if you brought them to completey change the look of the interior and be lairy, the blue ones are the far better choice...

To be honeat I quite like the idea of them not being in your face bright blue, the main reason I went for STI seats was because of the comfort factor over standard MY05 UK WRX seats !!

Those are limited edition seats, they only uk car they came in was the WR1. Other than that they came in the JDM Spec C models.
They will look contrast nicely with the silver exterior of the car

I do like those, much better IMO than the in your face blue and black STI seats.

I have those seats in my Maltese MY05 WRX, albeit without the STI stitching. Much nicer than the lurid blue.

The wrx ones don't have the suede sections though do they, only the STI seats ??

The original sale was via Ebay but that was for the Blue and Black seats, I contacted him via phone and did the deal without using Ebay in the end. He said the all black ones weren't due in for a while and he wanted extra cash for those !!

I really like them, can't see for any reason you wouldn't, if i could get them with a flip forward option i.e. for a Type R, i'd be tempted.

I think he did have access to a few sets at the time I did the deal but this was almost two weeks ago now, he aint got any on Ebay at the mo, I have had a look today.

Oh aye. You're right. Same physical shape size, but without the suede. Better than the UK WRX seats for sure.

Seats finaly fitted today, well pleased with the results !!

Glad I have gone with the all black option now and not complained
