Default to Fog or not to Fog??

Hi guys,

Ive got an WR Sti 8 and when i got the car the bloke before me spent £350 getting the WRX fog lights put in

I also have the fog lamp covers and im not sure weather the car looks better with the just the sti covers on or the fog lamps, shame is i have to take them out to decide, looks to much like a WRX form the front which nothing wrong with that but id rather it looked like an STi.

What you guys think, with or with out??

Cheers

Sy

ps i have picks of with the covers on but im unsure on how to get them on here....derrrr

£350 seems expensive for fog lights, are you sure they aren't driving lights ?

no, 192 or something for the fogs themselves with all the switches wireing etc, and 40 odd quid for the surounds to fit them in painted etc.

was done by TSL.

Not my way of spending £350 like

You certain they are fogs? Do they not come on with main beam? If so, they are driving lights, and IMHO, worth keping.

Anyway, what did you buy the car for, to look at, or to drive?

no deff, fogs, they have their own switch next to the water spray and rear fog switch, fitted properly so look dont after market looking.

just like any fogs dont really serve a massive purpose.

true i didnt get the car just to look at. dont ge me wrong im still in love no matter what...lol

Fog covers will fit over the foglights, I bought my fog covers fully sprayed with STi logo's from main dealers for around £100 I think.

I think you have to remove the housing around the outside and then the fog covers just clip in, thats what I've been told to do on my WRX MY04.

That's what i done to my WRX, the surround around the fog light unclips and the STi fog light cover clips straight in, the fog light remains behind the cover so if you change your mind you put it all back as it was.

PS...i prefer them with the fog light covers
