That looks tidy. Nice to see some proper mods rather than bolting on as many plastic bits as possible

Focus' look so much nicer with the twin headlamp conversion

Are you that small that you need a booster seat then?

JTaylor - oo-er

Redkop - Yes it was in the Spring issue this year, Cossie special edition.

I've done Fast Ford, Performance Ford, Focus Fanatics (US mag), Fast Car mag, and I did Max Power for a laugh in July this year

Hi there focusbird how you doing? Met you a few times at shows and the last time at Power engineering themselves. You were off for a night on the beer with Chris I think.

You will probably remember me from my car?

Nothing wrong with your car by the way.

I'm leaving it well alone for now, the piggy bank has run a little bit dry for the time being plus I think it needs a rest I originally supercharged it and 2 months later I added 75bhp of nitrous. It stayed that way for about 2 years, until I hard boiled it, head gasket was knacked and I cracked the head in 4 places so I gave it back to PE and they added a turbo. So it was turboed, supercharged with gas for 12 months

Turbo started to struggle because it was being restricted by the supercharger apparently, but it was done originally as an experiment as we weren't sure it'd even work. It did work, but not as well as we'd hoped.

Anyway, I've taken the supercharger off now so it's just turboed with the nitrous, which has been reduced down to 50bhp shot

Gutmann pug - Hi Gary, yes I do remember

wrx123 - Ive done all the silly mods and gone back to being fairly normal, and I'm finally happy with the way it looks (although the wheels in that pic aren't the ones that are on it now)

Thats a very nice Focus
I drive a 1.8TD Focus company car and I love that too. Most people dont realise just how well these cars handle in standard form, and how much fun they are to chuck about. Yours has been styled nicely, and I agree its not OTT. In fact, im sure i`ve seen it down PE before and commented on it.

v5 man - It's possible you've seen it around High Wycombe too, but I'm mostly down at PE at least twice a month - bit daft really considering I live near Macclesfield

I know that feeling, I have had to come to a halt now and the fact I need an uprated gearbox to be able to do anymore. The standard MT75 box is crap and I've had to have 2 rebuilds so far. I was going to try and take a look at your car at Nat Day but didn't find the time.

I've still got the standard IB5 in mine, which is another reason for not doing anything else to it cos I'm just waiting for that to **** it's pants it's coped really well with the extra power but I don't think it'll last much longer - just hope it doesn't go when I'm half way down the strip at Santa Pod!!
