I'm still waiting to see what you was going to do with that 6" x 1" strip of sticky back look a like carbon material

I'll tell you what to polish Si.... I did it on my Sport and and I want to do it on this one when I get around to it the rear diff housing I'll dig a picture out and post it for you.

They are from ages ago on a cheapy camera but you get the idea
it is suprising how much this shows up when polished.
And thanks Anger I dropped them on my photobucket account.

did the diff and i did the wishbones lol

they dont stay nice long, i have never done them scince to be honest

Couldnt you spray them with something to make it last, ie lacquer? Obviously would chip off with time but last longer.

wot did ya use to clean them up so well???? have a polisher at work that i could use but is too big to get into most of the places i would want too....

30 minutes work with an electric drill and 3 levels of of buffings pads with the matching compounds.

It's not very often someone beats you to it

I'm looking forward to seeing that at Rally day if you get it sorted in time.

we should run a monthly competition Si pick a certain part on the car then clean, paint, cutomise in some way or whatever... nothing mechanical more show, something anyone can get to without being a mechanic, then sit back and see what everyone comes up with I think we would have some very interesting results don't you

Aye there would be some p*$$ taking im sure. Guard wont be on for Rally day im messing with the engine bay at the moment
