Headlights! What should I get... I am half tempted with some decent morretts but feel perhaps I should just get good old plain crystals.
What you reckon? The old headlights look crap next to my new bling crystals don't they

Past Aston on the Heath in the week Karen, I guessed he was going round to you. Getting rid of the orange sure makes a differance, I did mine a few months back. Never liked morrettes myself, think crystals is the way for you

Why the GT150 bulbs? Are they the blue tinged ones? I also need to replace the silvertek ones from the indicators - they are fairly dim so want brighter ones. Do phillips make those too?

Soulgirl heres a picture of my old scoob with crystal headlights, sidelights, bumper lights, foglights, and siderepeaters. The only problem was that every weeks they were stolen off my car.

Hi Karen, yes the GT150's give a brilliant sharp light with a very slight blue tint but not noticable to oncoming traffic, best bulbs I have ever used and I have many in my bulb graveyard to prove
They take the ****e scooby headlamps to a totally different league, they are acutually bright with these bulbs

Are you changing the bonnet and grille too? The crystal headlights will not fit correctly with your current setup, they will go on i think but they won't line up properly and will look a little odd.
Definately go for the crystal headlighst instead of Morettes tho
Tony.

No, nobody seems to do copies so the only ones you can get are the orginals from a MY99/00.
Same with Morettes, only made for post 97 cars with the facelift bonnet. But people have fitted these to pre97s but IMHO they don't look right not matching to the bonnet line correctly.

Go Crystal - I can't stand morette's.
I'm also after a set of crystal side lights - but having trouble sourcing a good set. I bought some a while back but were a really bad fit (actually they didn't fit at all) and the plastic housing was yellow and stood out a mile from the OE grey.
Who does really good ones? (that don't leak)
PS - get diadem indicator's...
