NEW BADGE!!!!!
ive put this BADGE on boot of my '94 classic,
as my classic IS NOT a WRX or STI or SPEC'c', its just a plain IMPREZA, 2lt TURBO, so instead of making it somthing it isnt, i put this badge on?
GOOD or BAD?

I agree. you have one or the other, not both...so get rid of the SUBARU lettering.

edit : if it is the same typeface, whoever decided to use it wants a good kicking. The stem work on the B and Y are way too thick compared to the other letters.

You say you don't want to make your car something that it isn't, with that badge it isn't anything? To the bloke behind you it could be a GL a WRX, anything?
Why not make it a Turbo what its supposed to be, I'm sure a graphics company would make you something that would look pretty decent/unique?

Must agree with the others , The B & Y Look More Ticker / Bolder than the others .
Also think that it would look better if ....
A. You were to remove the S U B A R U Then replace with S C O O B Y
B. Just move the Scooby so that it is cenral to S U B A R U
Just IMHO Of course
Tiny...

does no one else notice that these badges seem to go hand in hand with aftermarket non standard looking rear light clusters.
One word - CHAV!
sorry but I think it looks cack! its the standard mod done on escort RS turbos to clean up the lines.
You say you don't want to pretend it is something that it is not, then why pretend it is a SCOOBY, when the log book says subaru. Why alter to a nickname, stick with originality, when talking classics, the standard looking clean lined ones always look best.

i have to admit, i'm not keen on the scooby badge, even if the fonts were/appeared correct. if you replaced the 'S U B A R U' with it as mentioned/demonstrated above, that'd perhaps be better IMO.

Why not get an old Cavalier badge, remove the first three letters, somehow graft together the l and the i to look like a H then you could have Chav on the back of your Impreza!
It would look sh@t, but at least it would give normal people something to laugh at!

i 'spose scooby in the back window is politically incorrect as well
take off the subaru, you cant have both, tis ok though
nothing wrong with scooby on your car
baz, should be a few more cars going into storage now PMSL
how many people say MERC rather than the full word? its only a word FFS

Just trying to think of the last time i saw a 300SL with the "edes" missing off the bootlid or for that matter a 911 with Porka scribbled down the side, no none seem to spring to mind
No doubt in a few years when they become "official Chav cars" we'll see a few!
