STI Now Gone... Bring on the Spec B..
After a memorable drive to Bristol on Friday..I dropped off my STI at Tileys, and picked up my new Spec B
I now know what it's like to travel 1st Class.
Sat Nav/On board computer has touch sensitive LCD....
Good old STI 6 Speed Box
18" 7 spoke Alloys as Standard
Not as quick as the STI I admit...but it is still a fun car to drive.
Anyone else out there tempted?

You're obviously a man with impeccable taste.
Very nice in Silver, much easier to keep clean than my blacky.
I have some prices for axle back exhausts -
1. HKS Silent
http://www.hks-power.co.jp/products/...1019-af010.pdf
Price: £373.00
2. FGK Wagolis
http://www.fujitsubo.co.jp/sc-srch/p...00881&prodSET=
Price: £465.00
3. Blitz Nur Touring:
http://www.blitz-na.com/Blitz_Ex_Spec_T.htm
Price not available yet, but should be similar to the HKS.
All prices from - www.stiracing.com
Shipping from Japan to UK is about £150.
I'm waiting for the Blitz as I had one before on the STi and love the build quality.

Dunno mate, was a demo and the sales guy who had it did get a few extras on it.
(tints, boot-tidy etc) so it may have been an addition..
I love the exhausts...may be something to do in the future, at the mo I'm happy with the smoothness (done the burble for 4 years and want a change.. )

I may do in a few months time....
I did the "mod" thing on my STI and I might try the "leave it well alone" phylosophy....

I agree on having something quieter and I certainly don't want anything like my old Nur Spec R
But that flat 6 is a little too muted for my liking, it's a shame to have it quite so strangled, so a Blitz with a bung will suit me.

Very nice ...often think 'I should grow up and have a sensible car'.
Those Spec Bs look like they fit the bill. 3 litre flat 6.......emmmm.
Bet the torque is nice and smooooooooooth.
For time being I'll stick with the flat 4 turbo....pop bang weeeeeeeeeeee

torque is very impressive..
I 24 hour test drove the JDM Spec B (GT-B RSK) 2.0 litre with twin scroll turbo before this UK one, and even though the turbo had more "go", the 3 litre is a lot easier to drive and sooo much smoother.
Plus you get ALL the goodies with the UK car for 27k (in this case 26k), and to get anywhere near that in the JDM, I was looking at 30k...

Nothing wrong with the Jap spec model..... just a bit pricey if you wanted Leather,Sat Nav etc.. (not that you can get Sat Nav, because apparently it comes in Japanese.... )
One in Hendy's, tourer, black with Dark Anthasite PFF7 replica's, zero sport carbon grill etc, and AP break upgrade...looked loverly, but I think it was circa 29k (and it still was not leather or have Sat Nav).
I need toys.....
