Loving that! Are those ear cups inside? If so, would you say that you could put your head next to a tuned two stroke and still hear and speak? If so, how much and where from?

Yeah mate they are ear cups and all ready to be plumbed into an intercom system ............. as worn by the mitsi WRC team

I picked up a Bell Mag R (same as Richard Burns') Kevlar composite intercom bells and whistles lid a couple of years back for £100. Reduced from £600 as the SNELL sticker had fallen off and it therefore couldn't be used in FIA events. Not bad for trackdays, although I look more like a lost helicopter pilot than a WRC star.
