A few pics of my Bugeye
At last got around to posting a few pics of my Bugeye. Bought it in the summer and really pleased with it especially since I got the headlight conversion. Just wish it was as quick as my old classic !

Looking good El. As a bug eye owner myself, I've long defended them, because with a few subtle mods, they can be made to look really good.
Heman - yes they do have the same sound. Mine is fitted with an original Scoobysport H&S exhaust system and it most definetly has the same classic noise! Performance wise, compared to a Classic (we're talking UK cars here), the bugeye is generally considered a little slower, because it weighs more. However, the trade off, is a much stiffer chassis, which certainly helps the handling of the car (bugeyes have litttle or no bumpsteer as well, which you normally would want to remove on a Classic).

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Heman - I agree with Chris that yes the classic and newage do sound similar (probably less so inside due to better sound deadening). The newage feels a lot more solid and handling is better than the classic but in terms of performance it is a lot slower. Mine was an MY95 WRX Jap Import and was really quick with a very noticable boost which is not as obvious on this one.
Overall I think it is much more refined and suits me better as I do a fair few motorway miles
Still great fun so i'm happy !
Cheers
