Thanks for the comments guys.

Patriot - thanks to a deal done with the factory i got the set including tyres for significantly less than a grand - just goes to show there are bargains to be had out there.

Ukdave - Lowering is not that high up on my list of priorities at the moment. Next up is clear front indicators and side reps, new speakers, a new bottle of polish and possibly a new exhaust. Yep - you don't see many of them in this blue. Lovin' it.

When or if you do lower it you can get away without any mods to front arches but i had to trim the rears about 5mm to stop them rubbing though i have lowered mine 40mm http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...d/PICT0037.jpg (its actually dropped slightly more since i took this pic now that the springs have settled)

Looks very nice ukdave - what has it done to the handling though?
On the subject of cleaning the wheels is there any "safe" product i can use? The receipt says any cleaning substance (i presume including shampoo etc) invalidates the guarantee.

Unhappy Over steer

I have not long fitted 18" wheels on my classic and have noticed a great change in handling from the previous 16" wheels. In the wet i seem to have a lot of oversteer when exiting corners.

i have 215 x 35's fitted. What could be the problem?
