Default bye bye Subaru!

Been there, done that, time for something a bit cheaper to run!

Surprisingly I've not noticed a major drop in performance (250 BHP 2001 WRX) but 500 miles per tank and group 11 insurance makes BEW a very happy chappy!

Very nice. My mother almost bought one of those but opted for a 320d Sport instead.

I love the plate as well.

I nearly bought one of those but went for a WRX instead.

With the sports suspension they're a good car. Just don't go for the leather seats as you'll be sliding all over the place.

They're 140PS and 236 lbs ft. I think you can tease a bit more out of them with some remapping too. They're a nice car, I've been looking at them myself (albeit the new 5 door 'sportback' version) but must admit I prefer the Scoobs' feel and handling.
BEW - Did you go for the DSG box option ?

Yeah they can/will be taken up to 180BHP with a remap (approx £350+ vat)
It's just the ordinary 6 speed manual, the car was in stock and as has been said the delivery times are long.

I'll definately not be back in an Impreza,a year or so of cheap(ish) motoring and then up the motoring ladder not down again!

Sinky mate we don't have Scooby meets in the United States of Ulster so that ain't a problem!
