How did you wangle that one, then? I thought with a lot of insurance payouts you'd be lucky to get a car a year older and a couple of models down the range.

The insurance company have been superb,The blame has been laid at the other drivers door,so i shopped around some scoob dealers and gathered as many examples as i could(over priced wrxs)sent them in and they got me £16000 for my motor

I will post some non-stoned type piccies as soon as i manage to put the digi-cam back into adult mode and not kiddie stylee

Oh the car is an sti type uk (52 plate) ex-demo plus one owner,fssh,36K paid £16295 for it from a main dealer,

Its the first sti i have ever driven, and i never knew the differance in performance over the wrx, loving it large

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the blob eye not come out until 2003? Has yours had a bugeye to blobeye facelift?? Or am I missing something?

As stated matey,The car was a subaru dealers "DEMO" when the models were first changed(car registered febuary 2003,just before 03 plate time),I questioned that myself mate but told it was one of the first to hit these shores
