Finally got my wheels on this morning, so as far as I'm concerned she's finished now - at least for a while. What do you think?

I so nearly got black, and every time I see a nice one I wonder if I made the right choice. Might be getting a wagon next so that might be my chance. That's almost exactly how I want mine to end up, except blue , I'd lose the STi badging (after all, it isn't one) and I've fully debadged the boot. My favourite wheels

Yeah, I think that's RRH's. I've been chatting to him all day by PM Superb spec and it's not really his car

Car looks sweet in black, agree with the tinted windows requirement, not to keen on the wheels but thats my personal opinion, shiny silver ones would of looked better against the black. Nice front lip also

Thanks for the comments.

Aren't tints illegal? at least front, and I wouldn't just do the rears (or any good links to pic examples on a black car?)

STI stays on because the covers are too plain otherwise IMO. And I like pink :P

Likewise with the SUBARU lettering on the boot - the **** is too big to not be decorated.

Keep em coming!

Seriously nice, everytime i see a good example, i'm so chuffed i got a black MY03!! Really love that Lester front, that's just gone on my list....
Wheels wise i'm thinking of taking a bit of a risk and see how it goes....going to go for some Arospeed RS GTs, with hyperblack (off silver!) finish!!! Anyone already done this and got pics.
Love the detangoing too!!!

Silver STi8 with Silver RSGT's here (my old car )

Tints arent illegal (except on the front screen) but you have to have them done by a professional outfit. The law states that there has to be a specific amount of light let through so various depths of black are available.

That is RRH's high-spec wagon! I followed him to the NBO2, it sounds awesome when he accelerates, I could hear it on the motorway above the noise of my car and the CD player!

Correct they aren't illegal but when applied on top of the standard level of tint in the glass it takes them past the legal VLT limit 70% IIRC most manufacturers have a tint level in the glass of around 25 - 28% so even the lightest of smoke tint level will drop your VLT to approx 45 - 50%

IIRC when I spoke to him, he's pushing around 370-380bhp, with all the anciliary components upgraded to cope. Does a lot of track work.
