Very nice shine indeed. May I ask what wax you use?

I purchased the one for £40 think its the onxy one maybe wrong but on my Dark Mica Blue the shine is no where near yours....

Thanks Ashley

ASHLEY
The darker the car, the more benefit in terms of shine you will see for using a wax higher in Carnuaba wax
If you have a silver car for example, then the difference in shine between a car prepared in onyx & divine will be negligable However this not the case on a black car for example !
So it maybe that he used the same wax as you but as your car is darker the result may not be the same ! Its all to do with the amount of light a colour refracts !
hope that helps

I have only just purchased the onxy wax, having read your thread maybe ill treat myself to one of the more expensive ones as of when I run out of the current one.

Having said that I am still pleased with the results spent a good 4 hours using WW Shampoo, cleaner fluid then the waxing.

Thinking of treating the car to Mark Underwood when weather pickas up.

Phil A
the same situation applies

"The darker the car, the more benefit in terms of shine you will see for using a wax higher in Carnuaba wax
If you have a silver car for example, then the difference in shine between a car prepared in onyx & divine will be negligable However this not the case on a black car for example !

If you havent used a product like Swissol then you will be amazed with the results obtained from any of their waxes ! ON a dark car like yours the higher up the range you go the better the shine !
You need to prepare the car correctly first using the car bath & Cleaner fkuid & then the wax is the icing on the cake !
If the car is being kept outside & is being used a fair bit then I would recommend Shield if not then go as far up the product range as the budget will allow. Samurai is an excellent all round wax for Japanese paintwork

Hope that helps
Paul
