Default New Blitz Engine Monitors!

Just thought you might be interested in this new engine monitor just launched by Blitz, we were lucky enough to get our hands on a few of the first batch into the UK and I for one haven't been able to stop playing with it since! Ooer!

The R-VIT can read and display real time engine readings such as speed, tachometer, water temp, voltage, injector pulse, intake air temperature, air flow, inlet manifold temperature, oxygen reading, throttle position and many more. The data shown on the R-VIT is dependent upon the data read by the vehicles ECU and varies in different vehicles.

The R-VIT can be linked via an infra red portal to the SBC iD Boost Controller. Information gained from the R-VIT can be used to help control and optimise the vehicle boost parameters through the SBC iD Boost Controller.

Jasoon - YHM

Unfortunately at the moment it will work on most Japanese cars ic. Subaru, Mitsu, Honda, Nissan etc etc, but we are curently looking at ways to make it work on VAG and Fords etc.

It simply plugs into the OBDII Socket under the dash, easy as that!

Not only does it give a much clearer display of any similar monitoring product, but it has got to be one of the most useful monitors available, just think of what you are getting, even if you prced up a decent set of gauges you're getting much much more for your money!

Does this unit allow data logging and download to a pc? Or is it just a playback facility on the units display?

Surely it will work on most cars?. I would imagine all you need to do is hard wire it to the ECU wires which correspond and ofcoarse you'd need to know what wires are what on the Blitz's plug, does it say in the instructions what the specific wires are where they go into the plug?.

Will it definitely work on a 97/98 classic because when I enquired about a SECS monitor I was told it was for 99- only.

Cheers
