Cool My First Scooby!!

hi guys,
thanks to Andy for hostin the pics, here it is

It an MY98 Uk Turbo, with a "God Knows Wat" spoiler, a p1 splitter and morrettes. its been fully colour coded, just waitin for the insurance certificate to come thru so i can tax it!

as far as i kno the car is standard (need to hav a closer look). however, wen i lift off the throttle the engine does make an audible whoosh sound.........possible after market filter or is that wat the big hole is for in the air box?

any ideas to finish off the look....dont want it OTT just.....nice!!

look 4ward to ur comments

Mo

Moski
very nice indeed, can't say i know what the spoiler is but i'm sure someone will.
The OEM wheels are ok but a 17 or 18 " set will transform the look

cheers for the comments!

the drive is not actually mine, just put it on there while i got it taxed-but i kno wat u mean, few ppl were complainin that the front was actually on the footpath!

i need sum time to put the cash together for the wheels, but the clear/smoked indicators r top of my list- the bright orange does not go well with the green!

with regards to the wheels wat do u reckon suits the green car the best gold/silver/anthrite?

again thanks for the positive comments!

unfortunately we havent got a garage, but we are lookin to move to a better house in the near future which will at least hav off street parkin (not overhangin!) if not a garage!

really concerned for the car at the minute cos cars do tend to get swiped by eager drivers sprintin down our road and cant leave it on the neighbours drive cos they had to many complaints of it overhangin on to the footpath-but the few times i driven it now more than compensates for the worries!!

the spotlights hav PIAA on the lenses- does this mean they are drivin lamps and not fogs? and if they are PIAA lamps does any1 kno where i can get the covers, not really keen on the spots- prefer the smaller p1 lights!

i take it no1 can identify the spoiler?? culd it b a 1-off?!

Yep Im definitely eager!!!! Did my nuts though just buying it!!! The mods will just have to wait a while! (thankfully the previous owners did an awful lot to it already!)

Im sure you'll have the same fun with the fuel bill too!! LOL...... damn worth it though.

Danbo/Moski,

don't change anything that doesn't need changing just for the hell of it. i mean, upgrade parts that will wear when they do wear out coz you'll have to spend the money anyway.

i guess i have a fair few mods now, but that's with nearly 5 years of ownership and upgraded when things have needed changing or repair. enjoy owning your Scoobs and what they can do, then upgrade later - you'll appreciate your upgrades more and the money will seem well spent when you do.

Kev
