Question

First off, i have been looking at some of the members motors and some of you guys are making great jobs. Not so sure about some though!

I remember seeing a silver classic shape, which had some silver coloured dash parts. Does anybody know where i could get my hands on some kits to do this or is it some kind of dash paint?

I have a 94 Silver wrx, at the moment it has Zero induction kit and dump valve, plus a straight through zaust with 5" pipe. I have also just fitted chromed Lexus rear lights and iv'e just ordered 18" Mania Vortex shoes! I only have the standard 16" uk 5 spokes on at the moment.
Est 165 bhp but not to sure. We are a bit lacking in the Rolling roads in the Isle of Man but luckily we have many roads with no speed limit restrictions!!

I would post a pic but dont know how to???

Any kind of response or pics would perfect!

Have alook on the TSL site as Trouser did it along with a few others. There might be pics of it there.

It was just the original panels painted and laquered

Cheerz,

looks really good. Did you do it yourself and if so how hard is it to remove the panels from the dash?

Also is it a special kind of paint or do you advise that a specialist resprayer does them for me?

Have a go yourself. I colour coded mine. Plastic primer, colour coat and some clear lacquer. I didn't even rub down between coats and they look great, its not as if it is a body panel. It's too small a job for a professional, unless you get them done along with a spoiler etc. Loosen the obvious screws and prise out switches etc. I found that it all comes apart quite easily except for the left and right de-mister vents.

Thanks, will let you know of my results. Depending on how many dashboards i manage to go through that is!!

Is it just me Wrx_kid or has the Isle of Man been taken over by Impreza's?
They are everywhere i look now! Not that i am complaining!!

Which one do you drive?

I have to agree with you Wrx Iom, there is sh*t loads of Scoobies over here now ( probably for the simple reason that they are a cracking car, especially for our de-limited roads eh?? ).

I drive a white 97 jap import WRX, what about yourself?? how long have you owned yours for??

Yeah i agree, better than looking at Nova's or Vtr's!

Ive probably seen you around, especially if you are anywhere near farmhill in Douglas. Well anywhere on the island really!

I own a 94 Jap Wrx, few mods at the moment.
Sti 4 spoiler (am looking for an sti 5 one though)
Induction kit, d valve and exhaust. Sounds awesome! (but then what scoobie dosnt?!!)
Just fitted Lexus rear lights as the old ones still had tango orange.

Not much else at the moment but i have plans. Just recieved my 18" rimms yesterday but need to save up for the rubber!

I have had this one for 3 months now and it's been on the Island since 2001.

How long you had yours and did you import it yourself?

I'll agree with you there Wrx Iom, i'm sick of seeing Nova's, Corsa's, Saxo VTR's etc... with Max Power stickers and the like plastered all over them!

I'm from Onchan way myself, but we've probably passed each other somewhere on this tiny rock though!

I'm on my my 2nd Scooby now... A 1997 WRX, the car is near enough standard at the mo apart from an Sti backbox and Cusco strut brace, but there's plenty more mods planned when i've got the spare cash!

I've had this Scooby for about 3 months now, I didn't import this one myself I bought it private, its been on the Island since May 2003. However my first Scooby was a 96 Wrx which was imported to order for me through a mate of mine but i sadly sold it to City Cars in Peel in July last year.
