Sorry to see that mate i would be in tears, if people are going to by these off roaders they should learn to park them or buy a smaller car like a Matiz.

On the upside you could allways get a carbon fibre hood.

Hope you get it sorted soon Dean

Yep, tis the qwaks, b4st4rd was running late, wouldn't have been there if he wasn't!!!
Twas a women driving!!!!!!! she's 37 weeks pregnant, so going off on one wasn't really a sensible option, I did start though, and then realise what could happen!!
Getting a loan car tomorrow, the bonnet flaps like hell at over 40! very disconcerting!
At least all the chips'll go!!

Would you believe, that cos I'm gonna be so busy for the next few weeks, I was gonna spend all afternoon giving it a good clean and wax, so instead I spent flippin ages on the blower getting things moving, it normally looks a lot better, hopefully when I get it back it'll be nice and I can get some good wax on it, and then I'll post the 'after' pics!!

Automatic parking sensors really should be compulsory for women drivers. Although I once heard a friends wife say "whats that annoying beeping noise?" just before reversing into someones car...

Sorry to see what happened, not like it was a tight space either

My business partner's wife drives a Freelander and frequently when reversing hits other cars with the spare wheel and even admits to it. According to her it never does any damage so what is all the fuss about.

Might just show the silly cow this thread and see if she will go back to driving school so she can learn to drive the heap of crap properly!

Bad luck mate - hope you get it sorted soon!

I can't believe how quickly everthing has happened, I reported it to my ins co ata bout 12 yesterday, I now have a loan car (Vectra yuk!!!) cos the bonnet flaps around a lot! and the accesor(sp) has already been to see it, new bonnet, grill, repair and spary bumper, etc, and blend the wings!
So the only panels that won't have been painted are the roof, pass door, and bootlid!
Had a thought earlier, as there were no witnesses, I wonder if the husband was driving but didn't want to admit it for other reasons?? it's his car! so maybe he'd had a skinfull the night before? or has had other claims?
Either way it's getting fixed!
Could even be being done next week!!!

Ta for all the comments,

Ron.
