Quality is good, although there is a noticeable difference between the Clarion and the roof mount, but then again, it did cost less than a tenth of the price of the Clarion unit.

More than sufficient for the purpose it was bought for.

The screen attaches to the bracket for the interior light, which it replaces.

And yes, that is a nodding Scoob!

Question

Hey Talisman: Quick question, how good is the screen fit with the contours on the roof, did you have to cut out any of the headcloth to get a snug fit?
Looks a top job m8

JTM,

Due to the fact that I used the interior light mounting points to mount the screen, means it sits a few mm proud, as it really was just a trial fit to see how it rated in terms of positioning.

When I get some time, I'll tidy it up, but I won't be cutting the headcloth.

I'll post some better pics when I get a chance too.

Question

Presumably the rear view mirror usefulness is somewhat diminished - Can you see anything whilst your favourite rear seat passengers are enjoying 'Monsters Inc'???

Mick,
Yes the rear view is very slightly diminished, depending on the angle you have the screen at.

Aceman,
YHM

Brun,
What don't you get?

Brun,

The screens can be used to watch DVD's play PS2 or connect up reversing cameras etc.

The rear screen is ideal for keeping young minds occupied on long journeys and has been a god send!

ajm,

If you look at the 2nd pic down, you'll see Scooby's right leg, "giving a paw"!

Cheers for the compliments too!

Why have two screens ??????
As nice as the install is why ?- other than entertaining guests in the back seems like an expensive toy without a use....

Gastro, as I've mentioned numerous times, the rear screen is for the kids to watch films and cartoons etc on long drives to keep them occupied.
seems like an expensive toy without a use....
Trust me, it is plenty use, and those with kids may testify that anything to keep them occupied is a god-send!

BTW, its not nearly as expensive as people assume.
