how do i get some of my footage uploaded ?

Place it on the web space given by your service provider.

ashamed to say this but, wouldnt know if my service provider (BT Broadband) offer me any webspace. How would i find this out ? online ?

To upload your Homepage, you MUST be connected with a BTopenworld account.
If you connect using another ISP, your login will fail.

1. Start Internet Explorer
2. In the Address bar type:

ftp://usernameassword@ftp.btinternet.com

3. Click [Go]
After a short while (It can be up to a minute), you will be logged in.

4. Once you have logged in, the window behaves just like normal windows folder.
You can Drag & Drop or Copy & Paste files from your computer to the FTP window.
