AK47,
No noticeable detrimental effect on ride, certainly not any bumpier. Tremendous grip and no tramlining so well happy.
And yes, you do tend to check out folk checking you out! lol
MADDOG,
The wheels are ET45. ET48 would bring the spokes a bit closer to the calipers. ET45 are perfect and the correct fitment.
With regards to lowering, the Prodrive Kit drops it 25mm so it shouldn't rub. Fingers crossed. (The arches are massive though, and it sits like a Hummer just now as someone else pointed out!)
Gedi,
I'm unaware of any issues regarding strength of the alloy.
I know that each wheel goes through rigorous tests in order to determine strength including x-rays etc. Apparently OZ have an extremely high rejection rate as their quality control is so stringent, hence the low production rates of the Superleggera.

How you finding them?
Seriously though, the ride has not suffered at all.
I haven't fully tested their grip as yet, I'll give them 500 miles or so to scrub in.
Can't wait to get my Prodrive springs on.... People keep asking me when they started making a Forrester saloon!

hmmmm....
they look sweet, but how's the performance? any difference in handling?
bet when you're driving around you look at people staring to see if they take a direct butchers at your rims

Very nice Talizman!
I've just had 18" Speedline Corse alloys (+ toyos) and the PD springs put on.. and as you said above, I've found the ride is improved by this set-up, if anything less crashy/bumpy!!
Which surprised me no end!
The springs transform the car, no doubt about it.

Suprising how small they look with the standard ride height. Very nice wheels though.
If you want big brakes, have a look at movit Very big, very nice. About the same as AP 6-pots.

Good choice sir! I put these wheels on my car back in March
http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=190578
I still haven't got the springs though as a wedding is killing my car mod fund
Would be good to know if they do rub the arches when dropped.
I find that the car does tramline a bit but as the original wheels were only on for such a short amount of time I don't know if it is any worse
Post some piccies

Nice motor Phil. The silver Superlegs really suit the black.
Good to see a 7 and 8 side by side also.... really allows you to appreciate the improvements Subaru made with the 8!
