Thanks Dan.
Gas is usually $1.80-$1.99, but a few months ago it was up around $2.50! I don't know how much that exchanges to.
How about over there?

Slingshot.
Car looks great.
You mentioned 93 octane fuel, i'm suprised it runs at all well on such low power fuel. I Used to put 98+ into my scooby, wouldnt settle for anything less.

Nice car mate
If we ran our turbo cars on 93 octane fuel I dont think we would have any turbo imprezas left. Recommended to be run on 97 octane I run mine on optimax 98 octane. Any body with a tuned UK car or an Jap import should be running with octane booster as well. Obvoisly Subaru make different engines for different markets.
Petrol (gas) prices currently we pay £3.03($5.07)for a US gallon or £3.63($6.07) for UK gallon based on 80p litre. Somewhat more than you, Yes our government stuffs us with taxes.

The US WRX ECU is mapped for 91 octane (US).
I didn't know the octane ratings were different. That explains a lot. If your pump gas is 98 octane in the UK, the race gas must be, what....120?
What's the weather like over there in the winter? I live in
New Hampshire (North Eastern US), and it gets down to -30 F
(-35 C) in the coldest months. I've been told that those octane boosters will solidify in the cold and leave gunk in the block.
