After nearly a year. It's been fully restored and a bare metal respray..

9x18" BBS milan alloys are on order too!

Just got to tempt the old man to let me fit a 5 speed getrag manual conversion or a TH700R4 auto or at the least a shift kit

always fancied a jag like that myself, my first memories of being in a posh car was one of those!
glad to hear youve not compromised the location at all though,
chris.

Family garage mate..left it there intentionally..Free plug!

plate is blanked primarily to stop people using it to avoid congestion charges etc.

Cheers for pointing out your concern though

9x18" BBS wheels now arrived and fitted

Crap pic as they were literally "just fitted" and the front is still jacked up in the air

Not too sure if it's a bit too Bling bling. Far better than the orginals

I see CIBIE headlights ... I thought the twin 5" lights were only for the US market.

You can get the conversion kits over here in the UK. So it uses standard 5" lights.

Some people prefer them (like me). Plus it costs the same to buy a pair of US-style lights than a single UK spec headlamp
