you need to start and end with the image tags...less the spaces:
[ img] and [ /img]
In between you put the URL to your picture:
http://www.cumbrianscoobs.co.uk/Suabru_Legacy/Jons_1991_Legacy_Saloon/1991Legacy_EJ18S_Engine_Bay.jpg
then, to get the picture, you put it all together
[ img]http://www.cumbrianscoobs.co.uk/Suabru_Legacy/Jons_1991_Legacy_Saloon/1991Legacy_EJ18S_Engine_Bay.jpg[ /img]
becomes:
[ img] and [ /img]
In between you put the URL to your picture:
http://www.cumbrianscoobs.co.uk/Suabru_Legacy/Jons_1991_Legacy_Saloon/1991Legacy_EJ18S_Engine_Bay.jpg
then, to get the picture, you put it all together
[ img]http://www.cumbrianscoobs.co.uk/Suabru_Legacy/Jons_1991_Legacy_Saloon/1991Legacy_EJ18S_Engine_Bay.jpg[ /img]
