original plan was to place the Xbox in the boot with a perspex cover and some green neons backlighting it, but because of the depth of the Xbox this meant removal of the spare wheel (which I wasnt prepared to risk) so it ended up under the passenger seat

do u not lose alot of good sound by putting that stuff in the boot of a saloon? it just seems a bit stupid to me but im not technically minded so it might work perfectly well.

Madjay,

The boot will house the Bass speakers and amps. Bass isn`t locational like midrange and treble notes which are more in tune with human hearing and makes it easy for us to pinpoint the direction of the sound. We can`t hear the direction of Bass notes as the frequency is wider so we just tend to feel most of the bass/lower frequency rather than hear it.
I can guarentee that NielT will have some lovely speakers inside the car giving him feedback of the more melodic notes.

Gordonshek - the basepanel lifts out revealing the spare wheel well, it then lifts out. Ensured this worked before having the build completed

Magepaster - spot on there
