I just used hammerite for the calipers , and the splashguards do help stop some of the crap but not all of it..
I've also had it lowered by 35mm(not that you can probly notice) and of course my latest addition the sti8 wing
edited ro say I'll take another frontal pic with the flash next time to show you my DIY wire mesh

Well it looks like from the replies so far that bugs are beautiful
I'm not disputing the shape and look of a classic , but the bug certainly looks more up to date
