I suspect that the front diff has been disabled
Only possible with the centre diff control or a disconnected one.
I can drift my car pretty well but i`m not sure about that.
Using the flick to set it up so maybe ??????
I`ll have to have an invite to see for myself.....Mike?????

Arron,
Diff's are not disconnected using Scandinavean Flick on every corner The only thing disconnected is the Brake Servo, to slows down boy racers and stop inexperienced drivers panicing and drifting into Armco barriers
Ps Arron, I have been on Prodrive a factory Visit Banbury, Prodrive listers STi7day Warwick, Prodrive test my PPP out Warwick and a Prodrive live day(I paid for). I can honestly say A) I've been VERY lucky and B)Unbeatable hospitality shown by Prodrive
Mike is actually a realy nice chap to talk to aswell but extemely busy When not devoloping STi bits he's of doing corparate days at Castle Coombe etc, etc . perhaps mail him and say he drives like a 'Nancy' and he might prove you wrong or just thump you LOL
Danny,
Agreed going to Trax this year ?
Tony

Had a great day yesterday at prodrive, just thought id post a few pics.
I thought I could drive my car and control it very well until I got into one of the prodrive STI7's on the prodrive handling track. I got to say I learned allot about how to drive a car from the instructors at prodrive who do a great job and make sure you have a great day...Even met Mike Wood who was there watching the action.
The format of the day is your instructor takes you round and shows you what to do then you get to do it yourself being helped along with words from the instructor on how to go faster and control the car better. We did two sessions and then marked on the improvements made, then its on to the land rover off road experience were you go on a mile long of road track which has some serious terrain.
After all that you instructor takes you round the track at warp factor 9 and shows how it should be done.
Great day out….
Prodrive Live STI7's Fully loaded but with the no servo on the breaks
I was in car 2 which had Tiff Needell on the back window....
Tyres Before
Tyres After
Just incase...
Now this was something they wouldnt tell us about, but its not your average STI8 maybe the reg gives it away, maybe a new prodrive limited edition
11MB incar vid of the warp factor 9 trip our instructor gave us
5MB vid How to take a corner prodrive style
Also met Mad Scientist and a couple of other scoobyneters..

Bah,
Told you would enjoy it how did you get on without a servo ??
I have been lucky enough to be taken around the Rally section on 3 occasions Twice by Instructors and once by Mike 'Sideways' Wood LOL
I can only say Mikes car control was spot on perhaps home ground advantage
October would be nice and damp would like to do the Skid pan day but they use the Jags IIRC

That black one I saw a few days ago on the ring-way around Brussels, at the back of a Mercedes Van on a trailer.
It looks absolutely crazy...

I'm interested in this one (but living in Belgium).
I could arrange something with some friends or so, so that we can come in a group.
Is it just driving, or also visiting workshops and asking crazy questions ?
And what will it cost, suppose we come with 6 or so....
Creepy
