Its a Cannondale Jekyll 4000 sl, which I have just polished using my car wax! Mer, from Halfords, and it came up a treat.

LOL! Comes standard with twin hydraulic brakes, and a 1 bhp engine. When I've had a curry the night before, it sounds gorgeous, but smells worse than a Ford catalitic converter, hehe.

I own a mountain bike company! scoob wrx wagon is the best mountain bike carrying machine ever.
my main ride is a singlespeed K2 razorback with Formula B4 disk brakes, carbon fibre bars, FSA custom cranks, marzocchi X-flies, sram 9.0sl hubs and hand made wheels. very very light. this pic has an etrex on the bars so that I can find the scoob later.

naah - this is Swinley forest in between Bracknell and Bagshot. The car was at the discovery center car park. Some great trails there.
The fort william dh ride is well worth a drive up for - the crianlarach to fort william road is 80 miles of PURE SPIRITUAL SUBARU with f. all speed cameras. The car WILL leave the ground at some point and you will be grinning ear to ear on the big sweeping turns at over 80.
The DH mountain bike ride is immense. get the gondala up to the mid station and then you can get speeds of 50mph on your bike. there is a nice wee 4-up jump track at the bottom with "doubles" forcing you to jump over 12 ft !!
If you are into mountain biking, or just like going out for a ride; then hop along to my friends at http://www.singletrackworld.com - some great UK route guides in there.
In a race of "Which mtb team has the fastest car" - we won. Volvo-Cannondale can get about 130mph out of their V7 with racks but was smashed up a few years ago when they tried to do maximum speed with the cannondale team trailer still attached. Lots of team bikes knackered.

those shots from germany look awesome.
so, how many of the south manchester crew are into mountainbiking?
log on here if you like, it is an mtb site I set up ages ago, and has quite a few riders on it now. You get a notification when someone post's a ride up. they are doing a big ride this sunday, from bala lake to the coast via coed-y-brenin, sounds great, but unfortunatly, I cant go as it is my sons 7th birthday.
that run up the scotland sounds fantastic as well, might well be on the calender for the south mcr scoobys after the evo triangle!

I used to race my push bikes before I went to Uni and discovered booze and the fairer sex. Proper bikes mind
My PB for the 25mile TT was 1' 4" 10s and for the 10 mile TT it was 27" 20s - by no means fantastic but but I did win a road race once I was in the Belper Bicycle Club, sponsored by Thorntons Chocloates at the time
Still got it in the Garage - Graham Weigh Reynolds 531c with Shimano 105 Groupset

get off this thread rusty you leg shaving girlie!!! hehe.
just kidding, but mountainbikes are for "proper" blokes, all mud sweat and gears,............ and carbon fibre, titanium, aluminium, tubeless tyres, suspension (full, of course)
hardly feels as if I'm off road sometimes, my suspension is so plush, and the bike so light, .... hang on, isnt that the same as riding on the road!!!!!!
BUGGER!

Another biker here.
As Rusty I used to race (offroad of course) in my younger days (only 26 now) and had a semi sponsership from Orange. SInce discovering the internal combustion engine however I kind of decided the bike took too much effort and gave up for a while. I have now rediscovered the joys though and now run a 2002 Kona Cindercone. Much better bike than even the team orange ones were 8 years ago.
Kev
P.S. Leg shaving happens in team offroad riding and downhill as well, legs used to be smoother than my missus!!!!!lol
