Totally superb car it really is!! I remember seeing them on the tele when I was a young lad so I had to get some pic's.

If I recall Michele Mouton was the only ever female World Rally Champion driving one. They MUST be fast

...edited to say I have checked and she wasn't world champion - she was second in 1982!!! ...and to spell her name correctly

Cool

hi all,

great car and a wicked hillclimb course - you must really fly down the hill from the start and then actually fly over the deer's leap (is that what they call it?!)

talking of audi's - did anyone ever see the late Tom Hammond in his Audi? I think it was based on the Pikes Peak edition or the Group B car with the huge rear wing. Same colours as the works cars like the one in the last pic. Absolutly incredible and usually made top 10 run off with the pilbeams and f1 engined cars. Apparently produced about 1000bhp and the wastegate on the turbo sounded just wicked as its squealed away up the hill!

Sorry for my over enthusiasm but good childhood memories... :-)

That would be a 200 Sport. Its another version of the UR Quattro. I'm thinking of selling my car (RB5) for a UR Quattro.

Lovely beasts!!

I remember seeing this car at GTi international one year (or similar car)and it did a 0-60 of 3.0sec's.

The guy that build the engines I think its Dialynx, is also doing the engine design for the Farboud GT.
