I was just about to say that!
Is that a powerflow you just put on? Custom build?
Hey Paulpalmer - what did you do to the airbox on your sisters car besides the filter panel? did it make much difference?

Sad to see to the Any one with a sport ??) thread go the way it did. I don't understand why people can't be nice to each other...
The up side is that my mistake of turning on email notification at the start has finished torturing my inbox - I had 1000+ emals!!!! Sport threads never normally go past 2 pages!
Ben.
And no, I haven't turned email notification on for this one
Edited for spelling

if that is an sti badge, then its a shame because it is just pretending to be something its not
and that is why the original thread got pulle because the pretenders got too big for their bonnets

The Toyo's are great. Fairly good value at 70 quid a corner (as far as I remember) and perform best in the wet. Dry is good, although not as good as the ContiSportContacts that I did have. Wet grip is very good. They are also fairly responsive to playing around with pressure (run 33/34 front, 29 rear). They are even wearing quite well, I've done at least 10k on them and they've got at least another 10k to go I reckon.

can we refrain from the illness topic and return to the original one please
not a bad looking motor blf21, not my cup of tea but it looks well cared for, which along with having a standard machine, makes a refreshing change

For what it's worth, I'm running potenzas. I believe they are a softer compound than my previous tyres which were Michelins.
Not really a straight comparison as my Michelins were 195/60/15 and my Potenzas are 215/45/17
Being as this is the members gallery, here is a picture...

Potenzas:
sometimes, I even miss the gold

I'd done 12,000 miles since buying it with the 15" Michelins so was pricing up replacement tyres...that and having a puncture
There was a guy in the For Sale section who had just bought a MY03 WRX and upgraded to 18" wheels so was selling them off as his dealer would not give him a discount for his upgrade Paid just over the cost of 4 * new 15" tyres for the wheels inc tyres so I don't really class them as a mod, more a wear and tear replacement
They are not the flat silver of the MY02 WRX, kind of an anthracite colour
I think it's time we had the pleasure of seeing your mode of transport- I can host the pictures if you don't have upload facilities
