Someone post up some pics quick or the mods will delete it!

Needed a new thread me finks.

News so far:

Club to go ahead but on a smaller scale to start with. Eventually we would hope to get most of the RB5 owners actual members. Takes time dunnit

There will be meets but it would be up to the individual to turn up. I know i'm gonna be trying hard to make them all now my cars done 1600 miles on the new engine

Web-site to incorporate a forum which is still to be discussed with members to see what is required.

Mark i'm sure you could add loads here.....

Tarra 4 now

Cool

Me has now joined ze club!

I'm also an STI rear light convert (it SO improves the rear of the car!). I just won't mention about rear fog lights for fear of getting the proverbial ripped out of me!

I think that's a cool idea.

Mark - regarding my rally-sticker question on the other thread, is it something you can do?

Cheers

Just checked out the site - looks amazing

Also re-joined and updated my RB5's details (still missed off the Eibachs springs!)

Particularly liked the track-day guide as I'm booked to do my first one at Castle Coombe 29/30th July !:

Having another piece of tuning work done (and something that I've been told hasn't been done yet in this country.......TBA) after being somewhat disappointed by the figures achieved at G-Force last Saturday.

good stuff

So far there have been 3 people that have submited an application to join the club.

does this mean there is no real interest in this club then? reason y i am asking is that Gavin is going to make a 700 mile round trip to me so that we can open an account in the Clubs name.

I really dont want Gavin to have to make this journey if there's no interest in joining.

I think that the £40 join fee is scaring off many so have decided to ask for £20, this will hopefully cover the web hosting fees and possibly some sort of members pack although cards and stickers aint cheap these days so they will be pants.

Still its as they say walk before u can run

As of tonight the fee will be £20, so get joining

have a look on the registry to see if your number is there, if you are referring to joining the club then we havent had your application so u will need to go and do that.

The site has changed a bit and we have managed to get a great deal with Performance subaru who will offer some really excellent discounts on parts. I will also be contacting some subaru dealers to see if they'd offer the club some discount so if u no of any in your area let me no and i will have a word with them

Cool

Ok, I'm back from my visit to my local NHS hotel!

Quick answer, I prefer number 3 and then 2. The big RB5 style lettering makes it stand out more.

As promised I said that i would set up a forum.
I'll set up a demo forum for you over the weekend, let me know what are the initial thoughts for the content.

Cheers

Yeah good meeting. Mark is well cool, didn't realise just how big a bloke he was until i saw him get out of his car. Hehe.

Sorry i aint been here much had quite a bit on and just trying to take some time off from things.

Question about the forum/webspace/domain name. Can we get supported forum webspace with our current provider? It would be nice if we had a link on the club site to the forum and when wanting to directly go to the forum www.rb5ownersclub.co.uk/forum or /bbs would be nice. Just a thought.

Thanks for putting me up mark, was kind of you both to do so! Really enjoyed myself.
