Cool

Had my brakes changed to 335mm Godspeed discs and Mintex pads. So far, they have much more bite, but I'm still bedding in so I don't think i am getting the full benefit yet. But, boy do they look good

Before..........

After...........

Very good mate, I also have some Godspeed brakes on my motor, 325mm 12 groove disks and gold 4 pots. They work very well, but only after waiting over 2 months for delivery and having to have a chum with a engineering workshop help amend the kit to get it to fit properly. Shame about that, as they are good brakes.

Mook,

Yeah it is a shame when something this good gets spoiled somehow!

I'm lucky in as much as I'm only about an hour from Brigend, so let them have the car for 5/6 hours and went to Cardiff for the day.

Very nice Matt

The calipers would look even better with the 'Subaru' picked out in black

Matt
they are decent brakes. I recently did Goodwood with them and they stood up to a lot of abuse. I've now ordered a set of those discs for my Evo ready for Donnington on the 3rd.
Could have cleaned your car before the piccies though.

Matt > Lucky on being close, certainly will have helped you out.

Regarding painting the Subaru bit black, I recall someone else on this BB who did it with enamel paint and a small roller which they gently ran over the raised bit. Worked a treat, might be worth a try

Matt,
I picked out the Subaru on mine using a model brush and a steady hand, worth doing as it looks nice.

Catflap, when I paimted mine, I used Hamerite smooth out of a can, I've used it on calipers b4, and they stand up to the heat pretty well.
