Cool

Another KnockLink LED extension, I'm pretty happy with it

Cute, eh?

Box from Farnell 353-6415
The LEDs and holders from RS
Red LED (590-519)
Green LED (590-525)
Yellow LED (590-531)
LED holder (589-569)

It was a bit of a squeeze, 3mm LEDS would have been easier to fit, but I wanted to match the ones in my home made AFR (next to the EGT gauge).

Now that all the monitoring is in place, time to raise that boost 300bhp here I come

Justin

Did you just parallel the LED's off from the original LED's?

Nope, the original ones are not there anymore. Not sure if you can do as suggested as one LED may be more competative than the other. Then again I may be talking rubbish! And you can do as you suggest.
I commoned up the +ve feed to the LEDS so theres only 6 wires in that cable.

Question

Right, how come you didnt use the original LED's in that case? Too small?
This is definately something i plan on doing as looking at the Knock Link (near stereo) at high revs in high gears (ie fast) isnt a good idea.

I just like superbright LEDs that look clear when off, which just happened to be the ones left over from the AFR I made .

Wink

Looks good mate.

Be careful though, don't look at it too long or you'll crash into the back of that Renault Laguna
