Last ones

These are pictures of my old manta GTE I had a few years ago. The top picture is of the car just after someone ripped the front bumper off (tied it back on with washing line ) This one didn't have too many mods, it was lowered seriously, had a piper exhaust system, k&n induction kit and the head lights It was so low you couldn't get it over rubber speed ramps



Then some sods stole it and I did it up again and it ended up like this



Rear wheel drive You gotta love it

ah now that takes me back. I used to have some fun with these in my modded mk1 escort, particularly round handy cross and down the marlow bypass. those were the days!!!

Did someone say Escort?

This is my 1988 1.9l, off-highway as usual. Today this car has 212,000 miles and is sitting in this office parking lot as I type.

The original headlights are terrible, and as they are not sealed-beam, I can't replace them with decent Hella or CIBIE conversions. However, the set of PIAA driving lights is wonderful, especially out on country roads.

used to have the same type of manta in red , ahh was my first performance, how i can laugh about it now
