Just sorting out my digital pics (about 110 of them), but here's a few tastes of Monte Carlo
The weather was superb:

Dark? Pitch bloomin black at times
Trying to take a pic of rally car comming towards you head on with a full set of lights on? Impossible! Mettering goes out of the window. Try a side pic and auto focus reckons you need a 1 second+ exposure. Never mind hey?

The road from Nice to Sospel has (I'm trying to count back here) something like 20 odd hairpins like them.
Go up the Col from Sospel and you have the same again
