Isn't this new version of the STi version 9? As the MY99 was version5, MY00 version 6, MY01 version 7, MY02 version 8 so MY03 would be version 9?
I think Subaru have dropped the version numbering thing now anyways.

God, i love the Japenese. I am literally drooling here.
DodgeT-I really can't understand how on earth you can say that, these cars are stunning!! But as you said, it was your screwed up opinion..
That Cusco Impreza is a stunner.
Superfly - I recently had a thread about this issue, technically there never was any numbering system for the bugeyes. In japan(and Aussi and NZ) the MY03 STi would be version 9, in the U.k however, there is no difference between an STi 7 and 8, therefore the MY03 is the STi8 for the poms. I think we should just stick with the MYXX names to avoid confusion

I'm with you on the numbers thing!!
STi 7/8/9 don't actually exist and an 02MY car would be an 8 anyway as there are differences between 01 and 02 although 01MYSTi was only available in the UK as a Grey Import.
Much better to refer to it in the official UK) way, Impreza III

Mike - You're right, i meant to say that there was no MY01 STi released in the U.K not that there wasn't any difference. Impreza III ay, well that is a new one. The Americans just have to be different and call what everyone else calls the MY03 the MY04.
