very nice, always liked Royal Silver. If it's cheap styling mods your after a trip to Halfords is in order for some wet and dry, primer and paint for the orange (you realise they're brown when there off the car)wedges.

nice mike .....very nice ,,,,,,,,,,, ok where did you get the clears ? and i guess su r talking about the wedges under the indicators , ,,,,,,did halfords have the right colour paint for that ?
also did you do your side skirts too yourself , ?

Side skirts were done by dealer prior to delivery. Had side skirts, rear bits and colour coded mud flaps for about £200. Got the lenses from Scoobysport, pretty expensive for what they are and I think the same ones may be cheaper elsewhere. Silver lamps are a must. Halfords mix the paint while you wait, paint code is 792. Easy to do and results are excellent.

Scary stuff!! I've got Scooby Sport clear bits and Halfords painted orange bits too!!! Just havn't got around the the side skirts. (Kinda thinking about getting an MY03 from Europe though so holding fire on that for now)

With the painting, I was just lazy... didn't rub down with anything, just cleaned very thoroughly. Did however put many many coats of Halfords primer on, followed by several of the made up Royal Silver stuff. I didn't bother applying laquer either, because you just don't notice it down there. They've been on for months now, and no stone ships or bubbling at all.
