I posted up in General a few days back asking why Subaru didn't make the STi in red Mica. The only reply I got was that it was a sh1te colour.

I think the new colours are really good (green, red and blue/black) they are different and that seems to cause some issues for the "WR Blue is the only colour" brigade!

Don't get me wrong, I love WR Blue and I currently have an 01 WRX PPP in that colour but I wouldn't have another.
If they made the new STi 8 in red Mica then I think I'd have to put a deposit down now.
WR Blue is nice but its not the only colour the Scoob looks good in.
The other problem is you can buy far too many other marques in a very similar blue.
