Sti 7, PPP, 18" Bright Flitter 7 spoke alloys...
#2
Thanks a million Jools, I keep wondering whether to add mud flpas and change the wheels to my STi UK. These pictures have made my mind up. Fantastic looking car. Where did you get the alloys and what tires did you go for?

Thanks for feedback.
Towzer; Got the wheels from a Subaru dealer and the tyres from Black Circles. Went for the Goodyear GS D3’s after taking advice from friends on recent write-ups on tyre choice, etc. I had 4 sets of Toyo’s on my old modded MY99 I had and liked them a lot, but these GS D3’s are supposed to be even better. Cannot really tell, other than to say the whole package is superb, and it is frightening (in the true sense of the word) how fast you can travel on dry...and on wet roads!
HK; regarding camera. Sorry, the quality started out great, but I had to down size them to get them posted...and that’s not my thing really.
Willie; Going for the bright flitter alloys was not an easy decision to make, when you are lashing out serious bucks. Changed my mind several times and was going to a get the gold OZ multi spoke, same as the tar-mac rally car...but then thought what the hell; "pays your money, and takes your chance". And I’m glad I did. Arlene still wants me to change the headlights, but I think I would rather go for the driving lights and new fog light covers.

Jools,
How did you replace the front grill badge without resorting to use of a screwdriver? On the Prodrive grill it is slightly recessed. I've tried some white spirit to free the adhesive but with no success.
Your Scooby looks the biz!

Andy,
It is no easy task...I took an old, really really small flat screwdriver, bending the very end couple of mm over in the vice. Then I applied a couple of layers of masking tape to the paint work and worked the "hook" in at the side of the badge at the top and pulled it out, so I could get a bigger screw driver in and lever it off.
Good luck,
Jools
