I'm with dirtbiker.
Dunno if I get free web space gonna look.
But me thinks now I might be on too high res on me camera, only had it a couple of weeks. It's 4mp and has 4 res settings s'pose that could mean it's 1mp - 4mp? been using highest and pics are 2.5mb.

Don't forget if you save them as .jpg instead of .bmp you will save a heck of a lot in file size.
Also, I've noticed some graphics apps use too many colours and keep the file size high, better if you can drop it down a bit.

You can easily get good quality at under 100k, it's the way you save em.
This one of JohnFelstead is only 48k, less than half.
Can't remember who took the photo.. think it was Chris.. sorry for nicking it
