White very nice. I would agree with above 35% tints sti4/5 rear spoiler / splitter.

If it were me, the first mod would be to paint it a different colour

Mate I really like the white Scooby's. Makes a refreshing change from the common as muck Dark Blue Metallics and Silver which plod (I say that as most of them are driven by Sunday drivers) around the streets.

Get full decat system fitted.

First thing I would do is move from Manchester

As for the car, cool,I like them in white, maybe a high level rear spoiler, and some 35% tints......

Now for the crunch question.....do you support Man Utd

mkyboy - welcome aboard the WRX roadshow...

My first mod was TSL's leather gaitor and chrome surround (see pic,) with a Momo ****, and I've just ordered braided brake lines to improve pedal feel, and crystal repeaters. Next on the list for me, so maybe the same for you (??) are:

1) Migrate cr*p rear fog lamp to driver's side reverse light
2) Dan's (dhorwich) superb rear light cluster tint mod
(including 'new' fog lamp)
3) TSL Group N discs/Ferodo DS2500 pads
4) Eibach springs
5) Clear indicators
6) Colour code interior (mine's a silver WRX so...)

Engine mods are low down on the priority list - get the car looking good and holding the road well, first! Saying that, I'm about to get mine on a rolling road to see if I can improve on the (probably inaccurate) 257Bhp figure a mate's dyno indicated last month.

Paul.

Tidy ****........

Be careful the MOMO motif fell off mine and couldnt find it

Like the way youve stuck the shift sticker on the surround,I take it you let your misses drive the car as I do

Yeah no what you mean YOZA!

Manchester postcodes cost me £1170 insurance! but it does house the best team in the world!!!! (MAN UTD incaes you needed reminding?!)

I got some clear indicators (front and side) coming this week, also looking to upgrade my brakes to 4 pots, grooved discs etc. as i had a scare at the weekend (not my fault, may i ad) Its still in KMH so looking to change the dials to white ones and might even de-limit it at the same time (any tips). And all that should tie up my cash for a while but i'll post more pics as i go along. Oh i might get all the body colour coded (white) what do you think?

Thanks for your replys, keep um coming!

Deffo colour code the side/rear sills - makes a huge visual difference & looks really good in white.
Maybe an STi4/5 rear spoiler ?
The bigger turbo cars respond very well to having a downpipe fitted & reduces lag loads.
There is just so much you can do to these cars - depends on how deep your wallet is !
I had my 98MY front bumper changed to a 99/00MY bumper & thats made a huge difference IMO
PIAA's ? Now winter is coming they light up those horrible early mornings !
When I got my previous car (95MY) I did the following
Colour coded
17" Speedline wheels
Scoobysport back box
STi4 rear spoiler

Happy modding !

Ro.

Thumbs up

Hi gravelexpress,

So she's your old ride! You seemed to do a top job looking after her! My eyes nearly popped out my head when I looked at the file of history you kept.

I'll post up any mods i'll have done, keep it touch.

PS: Do you know what model it is as it's making a few people scratch their heads? I think it's the lightweight body and quickshift gearbox, that makes them think it's an RA. Plus the 1995 championship logo on the seats has raised a few eyebrows too.

Its a wrx but had limited edition trim. if you check the model code it tallys with a WRX. I did all the bumper mods im glad you like it!!
Yup I was proud of her!! I gather your gonna rip out the limiter. Everyone took the mick because i never delimited her!! Im glad you have plans for her.
I kept her bog standard for 2.5 years then started to do stuff!!
If you put your e-mail address on your profile i can send the old pics -
cheers,
Mark
