Once again thanks to TSL for my new Group N discs, ferrado pads, braided hoses and a downpipe for good measures.

Question

Hope you don't mind me asking it here, but how much did that set you back? I'm thinking of the same kit for my Jap MY95 WRX, although a visit to TSL is out at present, so I'll want a local firm to fit the kit.

Cheers, Paul.

basically, no hard brakeing for about 300 miles worth.
they are much better than the OEM setup.

Hi Kev,

I gave Steve a lift to TSL on Wednesday and ended up with new brakes!
I couldn't resist all 335mm of them, and Steve got a set too!

Not a brill piccy but you get the idea.

Hi Kevin, nice mods, can you tell me what difference the downpipe has made to performance and noise?

Cheers,

Andrew. (1.6G at TSL last month )

Hardy,

The injector purge - Even the most loved and cherished Subaru will accumulate carbon deposits and by-products of combustion internally during the course of normal life. When a car reaches two or three years old it really can start to affect the quality of engine idle and acceleration.

By burning a carefully mixed solution of fuel and cleaning agents the injection system is fully purged to restore the performance and character of a brand new engine.

(text taken from the tsl website)
it seems to pull smoother.

AndT2000,
The downpipe has made a amazing difference to the performance, she pulls so much quicker is second and third gears, exiting bends and roundabouts.
As for the noise, i'm running the TSL decat downpipe and decat centre pipe and a scoobymania backbox, so the noise is quite loud. no where as loud as the firestorm or blitz systems.

The downpipe is definatley recommended.
