Has anyone got some photo's of delicious 5 dr Imprezas?
The wife is pregnant and suggested a reliable 4WD estate - seems ideal to me!
Also if anyone has a MY99 or later 5dr for sale now or in the near future please let me know. No or few mods only. DK Blue pref.
As a 'newbie' is there anything I should be wary of?

Here a a couple for you .. note how much stuff you can get in with a roof-box too .. it's amazing the looks you get when a 'sensible ' 5 door estate with roof-box goes flying past

Cheeky git
No 'Baby on board' stickers for me .. only the 'Mothercare' sun screen (easily removed).
It's an MY00 and has done 25K. I bought it from a main dealer
last year for 16.5K (a bit more expensive than a private sale).
So far I have spent .. (I'm going to hate doing this )
300 - 205/55/16 Toyo's to replace the crap bald OE RE010 tyres
150 - CD headunit
80 - New front speakers to compliment CD player
250 - Colour coded side skirts
320 - Scoobysport backbox
90 - Boost gauge
75 - Boot liner
75 - ECU swap (801 ECU)
300 - MY01 17' Alloys
300 - 215/40/17 Toyo's for new alloys
230 - Scoobysport downpipe
40 - Dawes Device
25 - Clear side indicators
150 - Roof box
75 - headlamp + foglamp protectors (not in picture)
410 - BIG service
150 - small service

2720 -
---
Holy mother of god that's the first time I've done that and
to be honest it's scarey .. Hamish (The Wagon) is getting no more presents.
Still 1/2 hour with it and you can forgive it everything
Doofus.
Edited to add roof-box + protectors +service costs

Doofus,
tidy car - it looks worth the exspense.
what's the 0-60mph / top speed (obviously wearing full safety equipment on private roads with no livestock nearby!!)
let me know if you ever want to sell it, I'll beat the dealer at least,
bye

Fast Boy
I've got a 'wagon' same colour as doofus's. No mods yet, but I'm thinking about that hard.
0-60 of the std wagon is quick enough for most people. I reckon mines around 6-7 seconds, but it feels feckin quicker than that
Top end of the std wagon is somewhere around 140-145mph so the book says. From my experience ( on a private road ) she'll cruise at a 120mph in 5th without batting an eyelid and still pull if you put your foot down.
It's not so much about the 0-60 and the top end that's important on my wagon. It's the fact you can have 4 up, the boot loaded and still go round corners like the car is on rails
My Mrs would only let me have the 5 door (as a future family car) and I'm more than happy with it. In a year of ownership on Saturday 28th, all that's gone wrong is a battery that would not hold a charge.
Excellent car, slightly dear to run, but so much fun particularly in the wet.
J.
Edited to say ...
HHxx ... is that a an STI rear spolier on that wagon? Where from and how much ... please!

Fdpxfunix,
the spoiler was on the car when I bought it. I think the original retails about 600 I've seen copy parts available for about 200.
Sorry can't be more helpful.
H
ps. no ones spotted the interior yet

Scooby Regular
These spoilers?
Scoobymania do the upper one, apart from that it's Subaru for more than £1000 (+Vat+painting+fitting) for the pair . I got mine secondhand, very few sets are going about.
