Any Blue/Black STi/WRXs with Tints ?
#1
Following on from Fulham71s thread, I am also considering tints and have yet to see a MY01/02 Blue/black with them.
Has anyone out there had them done and if so can you post up a pic or two?
Cheers

This is what I am planning to do to mine when I get it. No orange bits of course . Tints and 19"s
Thanks to the owner of this car for the pic. I will remove it if it offends.

I must say that the Superleggaras looks amazing on the car. I was really in love with the P1s in anthracite, but I may have changed my mind. Sammy, your car look incredible! Love it! Makes me almost want to get blue instead of black.
More pics of Sammy's car??

TIM TAYLOR - that car looks great! I've just picked up a WR Blue WRX and am hunting for some gold 18's, what wheels are they? really suit the car, also did you lower it? not sure if mine will look like a 4x4 on 18's

The wheels are 18" Speedline GT1 with Leda B suspension so nicely lowered
Where abouts in Essex are you? I'm only in Chelmsford myself! Maybe see you around.

Another picture for you (slightly off topic I know). My MY01 is on 18" wheels, using the lowered Eibach springs (also available from your dealer as the Prodrive spring kit). Just remember that you will comprimise the ride quality, but it looks much better and does wonders for the handling

Tim, i'm from Romford, had the 1000 mile service yesterday at Days of Chelmsford, really like your car, I have a WR Blue but was debating about the blue/black at the time. May see you about? - I went to the FlatFour club meet Thursday for the first time (had the car 2 weeks now) do you go? - was supposed to go karting at Rayleigh today but as you can see from the time of posting this - I had to come into work
Chris, thanks for the piccie - is the ride "over the top" firm or is it live-able? need to save up first but definately after some gold 18's in the next few months or so.

Well I've had the springs on for nearly a year and I've done close to 20K miles, plus a long trip (more than 2K miles) down to Spain and back to watch the Catalunya Rally - so yes, you can live with it, but you will feel pot holes, speed humps more etc as you would on any car running lower springs. The best thing is to try one - TSL have demo cars with the springs on them I believe.
If not, come over to the Herts / Essex meet in Harlow on 12th October (details in the Southern section) and have a look and come for a ride in mine.
Cheers
Chris
Edited to include a link for the meet. Sorry to hijack your thread Mark
