Can I ask a stupid question...

Why put a nice FMIC on your car and then block about 1/4 of it with a bloody great reg plate... surely that doesnt make sense??? Wont that prevent it from working 100%?

Looks great by the way!!

We cut the bumper and the old plate went on as a temporary measure, until Plantie decided whether to loose the plate and go for the stick on item or just a smaller version of the plate.

TO be Honest a smaller one will aid the job, but even with the Number plate is probably 100% more efficient than the interwarmer previously fitted.

JZA....

The plate was removed on Monday when it was mapped

Salsa is working on a replacement!

Suspension was recieved yesterday morning... should go on this weekend!

I am suprised no-one brought up the temporary induction fix.... It has now been replaced by a HKS Racing Suction Kit Looks well nice!

Thanks for the comments by the way!

Plantie.
you have been sorted with a plate?? thought Mike@CN had done it for you??? read about it on POTN today Neil had had a word with him 4 u.

Does a FMIC still let air get to the RADIATOR still or does it block it????

Very funny Dan!

Maybe I'll have to crack open the block and make it bullet proof!

We will see!

Phil... no idea on radiator air flow.... must stop it I suppose... didn't think of it..

Anyone know the answer??? or a solution???

Air will go through the FMIC and then through the rad as normal.

Looks very nice Mr.Plantie.

I had the same prob with number plate, got away with tiny plate for 6months but since Mr.Plod moving in over the road and him 'warning' me, I have put a slightly larger one on

Cheers for now.

what have you done?
I've got an unmodified WRSport.
What does that thing push out and how much did it cost?

jjk, this used to be a standard WRSport (factory spec)

However not anymore!

Could tell you the spec... but I would have to kill you!

And if I counted how much... I would have to kill myself!

Chaps, I've just noticed something in the photos with the bumper off...

You've got the pipe that goes in the O/S inner wing to the intercooler upside down!

Did you change this over after the photos or have a b*tch of a job fitting the bumper back on

Is it my imagination plantie or have you completely removed the maf and plastic pipework that would normally attach the filter?

Would be interested to see how dinghy thinks it compares to a certain other make of intercooler he used to be involved with (i mean from a working/efficieny/fitting pov not meaning to sh*t stir)

I have my own opinions, but not a lot to base them against as i havent been in the position to install or use both.

Just read the earlier comments and seen induction been replaced by hks item.Guess that answers the top question then
